The United States Naval Academy

Offers the opportunity for juniors to visit the Naval Academy for one week during the summer prior to their senior year.  For more information explore the web site:  http://www.usna.edu

medical research program

Open to Seniors in high school to Juniors  in college.  This research program gives students the opportunity to participate in medical research.  You can download the application at http://www.omrf.org

 Headland Indian Health Career Summer Program

$1,600 stipend if selected

West Point Summer Leaders Seminar

Connor's State College Summer Academy for Environmental Science

Cost:  Free (includes all food and lodging).  Open to students in grades 8-11 who enjoy outdoors and wildlife, meteorology, rescue and ropes, lasers and technology.  One week sessions beginning in June.  See Milne for enrollment form.

Junior Statesmen Summer School

For outstanding freshmen, sophomores, and juniors who have a passionate interest in politics and current events. The Junior Statesmen Summer School is an exciting opportunity for student leaders. It is located on the campuses of Georgetown, Princeton, Yale, Stanford, and Northwestern. Tuition, room, and board for all sessions is $3875, but many scholarships are available for applicants. Jackling Engineering

Cost:  $200 for one week of room and board.  Hosted by the University of Missouri-Rolla.  Must be a 10th or 11th grader in top 25% of class. The University of Mars Summer Academy Sponsored by OU

2 week summer academy for mathematics, science, and multidisciplinary studies

Thirty high achieving sophomores, juniors, and seniors will be selected to participate in The University of Mars Summer Academy. All expenses will be provided for each student. Interested students must submit a typed application that includes all of the following information: application form, high school transcript with GPA, any standardized test scores, two letters of recommendation, and an essay.

Harvard Summer School Secondary School Program



Harvard Summer School lasts from June 24, 2006 to August, 18, 2006. High school seniors, juniors, and sophomores can choose from among dozens of Harvard Summer School classes. Summer Seminars are also included in the program. Limited, merit-, and need-based financial aid is available to SSP students. Students can get more information and apply online at www.ssp.harvard.edu.
