Students will watch a video on Discovery Education about the Native Americans. Students will be put into groups and research one of the following tribes: southwest, southeast, plateau, eastern woodlands, arctic, northwest, and plains.

 

9:30-Students need to log into AR and start reading.

Reader’s Workshop- Students will continue researching one of the Native American tribes from Wednesday. They need to include the following in their research: food, shelter, clothing, location, name of tribe, customs, any famous Indians, and some fun facts. Each group will make a poster.
