It is a GREAT day for school!

“nihao”  (Chinese for "hello")

“Great minds discuss ideas, average minds discuss events, and small minds discuss people.”

- Admiral Hyman Rickover

  •  This is one of my favorite quotes.  Think about what you discuss the most!

  • Our middle school softball girls are wrapping up a great season and the high school girls are playing great!  Our football boys are heading into district play and we need to give them our full support.  Our cheerleaders are doing great, FFA is hard at it, and our band is gearing up for marching competitions!  Ten of our 7-12 graders made the Junior High or High School Eastern District Honor Choir on Saturday! They will be performing in October. Let them know you are proud of them.

  • FTG is blessed to have an active Education Foundation that supports programs such as Robotics, Global Education, Teacher Grants, Junior Achievement, and Career Programs.  The Foundation is hosting a golf tournament October 3rd in Tahlequah to raise money for these programs!

  • Take time this week to let a teacher know how much you appreciate what they do.  We have so many tremendous people working for our school.  Let them know!

  • Activities for the week:

Monday –  jv football vs Wagoner, FFA OK state fair.

Tuesday –   FFA OK State Fair, cross country at Wagoner

Wednesday – FFA OK State Fair, See You At the Pole

Thursday –   FFA Tulsa and OK State Fair, Special board meeting to approve estimate of needs, JH football at Hilldale, softball at NSU tourney
