Attendance
The Fort Gibson Public School District believes there is a positive correlation between attendance & academic performance. A district attendance regulation defines guidelines for excused & unexcused absences & their documentation & student responsibilities for make-up work.

Admissions
A child must be four (4) years of age on or before September 1 to attend the four-year-old program.
A child must be five (5) years of age on or before September 1 to attend kindergarten.
A child must be six (6) years of age on or before September 1 to attend first grade.

**New students are required to bring two current utility bills, signed lease agreement (if leasing or renting), shot record, birth certificate, withdrawal grades, and CDIB card (if Native American).**

The mission of Fort Gibson Schools is to challenge all of our students to achieve excellence in a setting which promotes academics, responsible citizenship and life-long learning.
